ABOUT SXS
South x Sea is a collaborative space where artists, writers, musicians, and producers can create beyond the boundaries of traditional Nashville studios. Housed in a 100-year old warehouse in East Nashville, our spaces were designed to be a playground for creatives.
Our 15,000 sq ft complex is home to Studio A, Studio B, a dozen writer/producer rooms available for short-term or long-term rentals, a large industrial warehouse space ideal for music videos and photoshoots, a fully furnished Brooklyn-style loft, and more.
STUDIO A
Studio A is a truly unique recording space located in the heart of East Nashville, masterfully disguised in an understated brick warehouse. Our control room features over 2,000 sq ft of open, collaborative design and is unlike any other. From the moment you walk in, the space feels inspiring, offering a perfect environment for creativity whether it’s production, songwriting, or even live music video shoots.
The blend of brick, reclaimed wood, and towering ceilings not only gives Studio A its distinctive character but also provides a sound and tone that is as unique as the space itself. Every detail was designed to support the creative process, from the versatile layout to the inspiring aesthetics.
The studio features four isolation booths with large glass windows, allowing for visual connection while maintaining acoustic isolation. This design creates the feel of everyone being in the same room together, even when separation is needed.
Whether you’re recording an album, filming a live performance, or hosting a collaborative writing session, Studio A offers a one of a kind experience for artists, producers, and songwriters looking for something beyond the traditional studio environment.
STUDIO B
Studio B is an acoustically accurate, sonic marvel, purpose-built to deliver exceptional sound quality. This versatile space is perfectly suited for everything from writing sessions and musician overdubs to vocal recordings, mixing, and finishing work. The 13 x 19 control room boasts 12-foot ceilings, natural light and a comfortable, inspiring environment. Connected to the control room is a well-appointed recording booth.
Nestled within a 100-year-old brick warehouse, Studio B strikes the perfect balance between industrial character and modern refinement. Designed in collaboration with renowned master acoustician Carl Tatz, the room features his signature PhantomFocus system, personally tuned by Carl to ensure a superior listening and recording experience.

THE WAREHOUSE
The Warehouse is a large, open, and versatile space within our creative complex, where the only limit is your imagination. With its unique industrial aesthetic, it serves as the perfect backdrop for music videos, photoshoots, and a variety of other creative projects. Whether you’re looking to dress it up or let its natural character shine, The Warehouse provides the flexibility to bring your vision to life.

THE LOFT
The Loft is a warm, welcoming space that brings the charm of a Brooklyn loft to the heart of East Nashville. This cozy yet versatile loft offers a perfect setting for everything from creative team meetings and unique recording sessions to video shoots.
More than just a creative space, The Loft serves as a home away from home for artists, providing a comfortable base for extended stays during recording projects. It doubles as a green room for video shoots or a shared common area, ideal for meetings, brainstorming sessions, or simply unwinding.
